Minotel Amba is located in the city centre, very close to the main train station and a few minutes away from the old town, from historical buildings, museums and the pedestrian zone that provides great shopping opportunities.

Arrival by car :
Via highway A8 (coming from the northwest and from Augsburg, Ulm, Stuttgart) : Take exit no. 82 München Obermenzing at the end of the highway. At the roundabout, take the 2nd street (Verdistrasse, followed by Menzingerstrasse). After having passed the castle, Schloss Nymphenburg , turn left onto Arnulfstrasse. After about 2.5 km, turn left onto Marsstrasse. After about 1.5 km, turn right into Lämmerstrasse. At the end of the street, turn right into Hirtenstrasse.

Via highway A92 : Rejoin bypass-highway A99 and take exit no. 10 München-Ludwigsfeld. Then continue in the direction of Stadtmitte on Dachauerstrasse. Watch : please always stay on Dachauerstrasse, even if this means that at times you need to leave the main road ! After a few kilometres, you will simply follow the tracks of tramway lines 20 and 21. After about 10 km, a few hundred metres from the Bahnhofplatz away, turn right into Hirtenstrasse.

Via highway A9 and Munich Airport : Take exit no. 76 München-Schwabing. Then drive westwards on B2R until the first exit Leopoldstrasse in the direction of Stadtmitte. Always continue straight ahead and you will reach Ludwigsstrasse. Turn right in the direction of Karlsplatz. After Maximiliansplatz, rurn right again onto Elisenstrasse and continue on Marsstrasse. Turn into the 3rd street left Lämmerstrasse. At the end of the street, turn right into Hirtenstrasse.

Via highway A8 (coming from the south and from Rosenheim, Salzburg) : Take exit no. 91 München-Ramersdorf at the end of the highway. Then follow the direction of Stadtmitte on Rosenheimer Strasse. After having crossed the River Isar, turn left at the Isartor. Follow the main road on Frauenstrasse, Blumenstrasse, Sendlinger Tor and Sonnenstrasse until Karlsplatz. After about 150 m, turn left onto Elisenstrasse and continue on Marsstrasse. Turn into the 3rd street left Lämmerstrasse. At the end of the street, turn right into Hirtenstrasse.

Via highway A95, exit no. 1 (Sendling-Süd) and highway A96, exit no. 39 (Sendling) : Then drive northwards (in the direction of Olympiapark) on Garmischer Strasse. After having passed the tunnel and crossed the bridge Donnersberger Brücke over the railway tracks, turn into the first street right Arnulfstrasse. After about 300 m, turn into the 2nd street left Marsstrasse. After about 1.5 km, turn right into Lämmerstrasse. At the end of the street, turn right into Hirtenstrasse.

Arrival by train :
Munich main railway station, Hauptbahnhof (Hbf) München, is an important German rail hub, offering hundreds of national and international connections a day.
At the end of the platform, turn left and take one of the exits to the north of the station (towards platforms 26 to 36). Doing so, you will find yourself on Arnulfstrasse that you will follow leftwards until you arrive at Minotel Amba that is less than a hundred metres away.

Arrival by airplane :
München Franz-Josef-Strauss Airport is Germany’s second largest. It lies approx. 35 km to the northeast of the city. Direct urban trains S1 and S8 leave every 20 minutes between 04:00 am and 01:00 am for the main railway station. The station is located on Arnulfstrasse, about a hundred metres from the hotel away.
The journey takes about 45 minutes and costs approx. 9 euro.

The shuttle bus (Lufthansa Airport Bus) is even more convenient. It takes you between 6:20 am and 9:30 pm directly from the different airport terminals to the main train station. The journey costs 10 euro (return ticket 16 euro) and you also arrive at Arnulfstrasse, about a hundred metres from Hotel Amba away.

A taxi to the hotel costs about 60 euro.
