Map & Directions
Cannobio is a village located on the western shore of the Lake
Maggiore, a few kilometers from the Swiss border of Valmara in Ticino.
Arrival by car :
Coming from the motorway A26/A8 from the South, take the
Baveno exit. From the North, leave the motorway at
Gravellona Toce. Then continue on the SS34 and pass by
Verbania until Cannobio.
From Switzerland, when arriving from the motorway N2, leave in
direction of Locarno, then continue and pass by Ascona,
Brissago and the border at Piaggio di Valmara until
Cannobio.
You can reach the hotel’s car park entry from the main road.
Arrival by train :
The Cisalpino, which connects Switzerland to Milan, stops at the
Verbania-Pallanza station. From the station, you can travel by bus
(n° 3) in direction of Brissago until Cannobio (please check the
timetables before your departure).
From the Locarno station, join the port and take a boat until
Cannobio.
Airports :
The Milano-Malpensa airport is located at 85 km. You can join
the Verbana-Pallanza station with the Cisalpino or the Alibus n° 45.
By car, it is necessary to join the A26 motorway to Baveno.
From the Lugano-Agno airport, join Ponte Tresa by train. Then
take the bus n° 135 until Luino in Italy and continue by boat until
Cannobio. By car, take the A2 motorway in direction of Bellinzone,
follow the direction of Locarno, continue while passing by Ascona,
Brissago and pass the border at Piaggio di Valmara until Cannobio.
