A beautiful stroll along the lake takes you within 20 minutes from Hotel Lido La Perla Nera to the centre of Stresa, famous for its villas of the Belle Epoque and its ancient parks.

Arrival by car :
From the Milano-Laghi highway, follow the direction of Gravellona / Toce and take exit Baveno / Stresa. Follow the direction of Stresa.

Coming from Locarno in Switzerland, the road roughly runs along the shore of Lake Maggiore. Having crossed the border, take state highway SS34 and cross Cannobio, Cannero Riviera as well as Verbania. About 1,7 km after Verbiana, take the 2nd exit of the roundabout and follow state highway SS33RACC / SP167. Cross Feriolo and turn left onto state highway SS33 in the direction of Baveno and Stresa.

Coming from Domodossola, take state highway SS33 / E62 in the direction of Milano. Then take highway E62 / Autostrada dei Trafori and finally highway A26 / E62. Take exit Baveno / Stresa and follow the direction of Stresa.

When arriving in Stresa, continue on state highway SS33 / Via Semione Nord until you turn left into Viale Lido, which leads to the shore of Lake Maggiore and to the Carciano landing stage. Hotel Lido La Perla Nera is located halfway down the road on the left-hand side of the street, at number 15.

Arrival by train :
Stresa railway station is 700 m from the hotel away.

Arrival by airplane :
Milano Malpensa airport is about 45 km from the hotel away. By car, please follow the above driving directions. You may also take the shuttle bus to Arona and then continue by public bus service to Stresa.

Arrival via Lake Maggiore :
Coming from Locarno, you might want to join Stresa by boat on beautiful Lake Maggiore. In the mornings during spring and summer season, a convenient hydrofoil service takes you within about 1¼ hour to Stresa. On Wednesdays, Sundays and public holidays, a second hydrofoil service operates in the late afternoon.
