Map & Directions
Hotel Zandbergen is located in Amsterdam, in the
Netherlands, in a quiet and lush residential area called
Oud-Zuid, just a few meters from Vondelpark away. We absolutely
recommend you to use public transport in Amsterdam since it is
not an ideal city for driving a car, nor for parking. All
attractions can be easily rejoined by tram, bus, metro or ferry. If
you want to act local, opt for the most popular means of transport
of the Netherlands and rent a bicycle for approximately 7
euro a
day !
Arrival by car :
Arriving via motorway A10 from the south, take exit no.
S107-Knooppunt De Nieuwe Meer in the direction of
Sloten/Slotervaart. Follow S107/Oud Zuid and rejoin Henk
Sneevlietweg/S107/Aalsmeerweg. At the roundabout, take the first
exit onto Hoofddorpweg and drive past the drawbridge. Continue on
Zeilstraat and then on Koninginneweg. After a left turn, follow the
tramway tracks, slightly to your right. You are now on
Willemsparkweg and Hotel Zandbergen is located at no. 205, about 70
m down the street, on the right-hand side.
Arriving via motorway A10 from the west (Den Haag/Schiphol), take
exit no. S108-Buitenveldert onto the S108 in the direction of Oud
Zuid. Turn right onto Amstelveenseweg/S108. Turn right onto
Stadionplein/S108 and do a U-turn to take the first street to your
right. Stay on Amstelveenseweg. After 750 m, turn right onto
Koninginneweg. After a left turn, follow the tramway tracks,
slightly to your right. You are now on Willemsparkweg and Hotel
Zandbergen is located at no. 205, about 70 m down the street, on the
right-hand side.
You can park your car in front of the hotel or across the street.
However, don’t park for too long since all of the city’s parking
spaces are expensive and closely monitored. Instead, take advantage
of the hotelier’s offer which includes car parking in the area’s
parking zone for approximately only 6 euro per day as well as free
tickets for the
public transport network !
Arrival by train and public
transport :
Amsterdam Centraal railway station lies about 4 km north-east of the
hotel. In front of the station, take tram no. 2 until Emmastraat.
Retrace your path for about 100 metres, following the tramway
tracks.
Arrival by airplane :
Amsterdam-Schiphol Airport is the country’s main airport and
Europe’s fourth biggest airport.
A shuttle bus runs every half an hour between the airport and the
hotel. Its stop lies just outside the arrivals terminal. The
shuttle bus costs approximately 15 euro one way and
approximately 24.50 euro round trip. For the
return trip from the hotel, do book the shuttle bus ahead.
You can also take bus no. 197. It runs every 15 minutes. Get off at
Haarlemmermeer station and change to tram no. 16. It takes you
directly to Emmastraat (approximately 3.50 euro for the 40-minute
trip).
