Welcome to Hotel Reina Cristina in Granada, one of Spain’s
cultural hot spots. The city deserves this status in relation to
its 500-year old university as well as its music and theatre scene,
its craftsmanship and its gastronomy. Its monuments marked by Arab
presence such as the Alhambra and the Albaicín quarter
contrast to those of Christian dominance, represented by the
Royal Chapel, the cathedral or the Cartuja
Monastery.
Hotel Reina Cristina is located in what used to be the
Rosales family house, where the poet Federico Garcia Lorca spent his
last days. The owners of the hotel have made every effort to keep
the building the same as it was when the Rosales family lived there.
The typical Andalusian style building, with its patios and
fountains, reminds us of the poet. It lies in Granada’s commercial
and social centre, near the cathedral.
Guests at Hotel Reina Cristina are received with friendliness
and respect. A quite distinct service makes them feel right at home.
