capital Madrid, at the Puerta del Sol. Madrid's best shopping

Likewise, the hotel is located in the heart of historic
Madrid : Plaza Mayor, the Madrid of the Austrias (el
Madrid de los Austrias) are all nearby. The hotel is surrounded
by the city's most famous monuments such as the Royal Palace,
the Royal Theatre, the Parliament, the Senate, etc... Madrid's most
cosmopolitan places like the Prado Museum, Thyssen Museum, Reina
Sofía Museum, etc... are just a few minutes' walk from the hotel
away.

Map & Directions
From the airport you can choose the following options:
By Underground: It takes about 30 minutes and costs
around 0.8 Euros. You have to get on at the "Mar de Cristal" station
and take it to "Goya". Then change to line 2 towards "Sol". At "Sol"
get off and go out the C/ Mayor exit. When you come up onto the
street, the hotel is on the right.
By Bus: You can take it to Plaza Colón. It costs 2.25
Euros. and takes about 25 minutes. From the Plaza Colón, you have
to take either the underground or another bus to SOL (about 15
minutes) or a taxi which takes about 15 minutes and costs around 6
Euros.
By Taxi: It takes about 25 minutes and should not cost
more than 18 Euros. If you have any doubt about the fare you are
charged, do not pay and ask for assistance at the hotel reception
desk.
