The Region
Close to the hotel, at a few minutes only, you can practice all sort of sports and relaxing activities which this resort offers you:
tennis and squash, many swimming pools, the beach of the Moubra lake, water skiing or wakeboard on the "Etang-Long", beach-volleyball ; 280 km of footpath trails, indoor horse-riding or along 30 km of paths, hiking, paragliding, rafting and canyoning, mountain biking, golf (one 18 holes, two 9 holes and a "Indoor with driving swing to analyze & video"), archery, hot air balloon or helicopter flights.
In winter, on a regular basis, the vast Alpine skiing domain welcomes a number of world cup competitions. You can practice the cross country skiing, the toboggan, ice-skating...

You will enjoy permanently a fresh air with added vitamins, healthy and pure, which it would be nice to bottle up for a rainy day !

By car:

Coming from Geneva/Lausanne, from Bern, Grand St-Bernard on the motorway A9 (N9):
take exit motorway Sierre-West
and follow Montana direction
passing by Chermignon, you arrive at Montana-Village, where you turn right direction Montana-Cliniques
you follow the Route de la Moubra for approximately 1.6 km
coming out of the forest, the Moubra lake will be on your left, take right at the roundabout
you are now on the Route de la Prairie and Minotel is approximately 250 m further up, on your left.

Coming from Brig/Simplon by the Main road 9:
before the motorway Sierre-East entry,
follow the Main road 9 on the right, in the direction of Sierre
then turn right and follow Crans-Montana direction
over 13 km until Montana-Center
at the roundabout turn left on Chemin du Cimetière
after 180 m, continue straight on the Chemin de Coudra
after approximately 150 m, turn left
on the Route de la Prairie and the Minotel is at approximately 100 m further down, on your right.

By train and funicular or bus:
The Swiss train company CFF offers many daily international connections, between France/Geneva/Lausanne and Brig/Simplon/Italy
The trains InterRegio, Regio and Direct stop in Sierre/Siders

The Sierre/Siders CFF train station is at approximately 10 km from the hotel

Go from the CFF train station to the funicular SMC (Sierre- Crans-Montana)
taking the Avenue General-Guisan on your left,
at approximately 300 m, the funicular station is located on your right
the funicular brings you up to the last stop Montana- Vermala (departure every 30 minutes for a 12 to 20 minutes journey).
From there we advise you to take a taxi for the remaining kilometer or to contact the hotelier in advance. He will be pleased to organise a private shuttle to pick you up.

If you prefer walking, follow the Avenue de la Gare to the roundabout, then turn left on the Chemin du Cimetière
after 180 m, continue straight on the Chemin de Coudra
after approximately 150 m, turn left
on the Route de la Prairie and the Minotel is at approximately 100 m on your right.

From Sierre/Siders CFF train station, some SMC coaches are also available,
and from Sion, some Postal buses which reach the Montana-Vignettes stop
in approximately 35 to 45 minutes.
From there, you are at about 800 m while following the Route de Rawly, to the roundabout,
straight on to the Chemin du Cimetière, after 180 m,
continue straight on the Chemin de la Coudra and at approximately 150 m, turn left
on the Route de la Prairie, the Minotel is at approximately 100 m on your right.

However, we advise you to take a taxi or to contact the hotelier in advance . He will be pleased to organise a private shuttle to pick you up.

Depending on the seasons, a free shuttle service runs in the resort, connecting various bus stops, the funicular, the ski-lifts, as well as the sporting centers and the lakes.
