Restaurant
Our restaurant the "Locanda Grigionese" was built in 1948. Constructed out of Grigioni wood, you will find a warm and intimate ambience.

Seating for 50 people, with typical local dishes as well as Italian and international specialities. Our wines are chosen with care, especially the local ones.

The restaurant serves a hearty breakfast buffet with a good choice of local and often biological products.

The Region
The Poschiavo valley extends from north to south, linking the Engadine with Italy.

The Puschlav lies on the Southern slope of the Bündner Alps. The South- Easternmost tip of the Grisons is entirely surrounded by Italy.

In the North, the 2'328 m high Bernina Pass links the valley to the Engadine and hence to Switzerland.

Just under 5000 people live in the two localities of Poschlavo and Brusio in a local authority area covering 238 km2. The population is concentrated on or near the two main centres.

Arrival by car :
From Zurich : Take highway A3 in the direction of Chur and then Sankt Moritz. At the end of the highway, continue to follow the signposts for Sankt Moritz from where you will take the road to Pontresina. Continue until Poschiavo. Before the bridge at the beginning of the village, take the first road on your left. Hotel Suisse is located 300 m down the street.

From Milan : Take state highway SS36 in the direction of Lecco. Continue towards Sondrio and Tirano. Then follow the signposts for Poschiavo. Arriving at the village, take the third road on your right. Hotel Suisse is located 50 m down the street.

Arrival by train :
Swiss railway company SBB offers many daily international connections between Milan / Zurich / Poschiavo.
