Welcome to the XML interface to Minotel's Online Hotel Reservation System.

These pages are designed to show how agents and partners can easily create XML based applications which access the information on our databases and make reservations on behalf of their clients.

You do not have to log in to read these notes or make XML requests but your requests will be refused if you have not contacted Minotel and received a password and permission to use the system.

Once you are registered your application will initially be able to make reservations only at our specially configured "test hotels" (CH999 and GB999). These are fictitious hotels. However you will be permitted to view information relating to all our hotels. When we are satisfied that your system is operating correctly we will permit you to make reservations in real hotels.

If you wish to alter the details we hold about your agency or review your bookings you must log in.

To get a good idea of the Minotel product offering and the associated principles and rules it would be advisable to browse through the Minotel Public Site, skim the FAQ in the help desk and generally familiarise yourself with the content rich but standardised nature of the product over more than 300 hotels.
